Lately I borrowed a monitor-colour-calibration tool named "Spyder2Express" from my classmate, Joseph, to inspect and correct my 6-years-old laptop's LCD colour performance. I bought my COMPAQ N610c on 2002 and it still works perfectly with Windows XP.I endeavor to avoid installing any software called "memory eating monster", like Microsoft Office 2003 or 2007. Instead, I use freeware or even greenware because they help me to save my system memory.
But there is one thing I concerned, my LCD's colour performance. After all, its a 6 years old panel and should has some colour offset in common circumstances. BUT IT IS NOT ! I did colour inspection twice with Spyder2Express and N610c still performs colour accurately! BRILLIANT!
I'm so glad that I chose my N610c. It was expensive, but it worth it!
